River Mint

Dried River Mint adds a depth and earthiness to dishes that you don’t get with fresh River Mint, like a completely different ingredient. Sprinkle into salads or spoon into dressings— add a teaspoonful to a chopped salad of finely diced cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions, sharpened with a squeeze of lemon juice and lots of extra virgin olive oil .
Dried River Mint partners well with roast lamb or moussaka. Use it in a tzatziki or in Turkish yogurt soup (yayla corbasi), made with chicken stock and seasoned with plenty of dried River Mint stirred through the rich, creamy, broth.
Or how about Turkish Lentil Soup (Ezogelin), where red lentils are simmered in a tomato-infused broth with lots of sweet paprika and warming red pepper flakes and generous tablespoons of grassy dried River Mint.
