The secret to this damper is to ensure the oven is hot and to handle the combined mix as little as possible. Light, tight and bright !
"Let's make damper" is available in 3 flavours
- Desert Oak Wattleseed and Manuka Honey
- Native Thyme, Carrot and Maple Syrup
- Saltbush and Tomato
You will also need
1 cup thickened cream
1 cup Bundaberg Ginger Beer
Place dried ingredients into a mixing bowl.
Make a well in the centre and add the ginger beer and cream. Combine.
Turn onto a floured board (it may be a little sticky at this point) but roll the mixture into the flour, adding a little more flour if necessary.
Don’t over handle it.
Tip onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Make some indentations across the top if you like and then into a hot preheated oven at 200C for 30 mins.
